Statement
Under the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (commonly known as Proposition 65 or 'Prop 65'), the State of California annually compiles and updates a list of substances recognised to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity (referred to as the 'Prop 65 List').
Prop 65 mandates the provision of 'clear and reasonable' warnings when, whilst conducting business, an individual in California is knowingly and intentionally exposed to a substance on the Prop 65 List. Additionally, Prop 65 prohibits the knowing discharge or release of a substance listed in Prop 65 in a manner likely to enter any California drinking water source.
Cambrionix products are not designed to expose individuals to substances on the Prop 65 list during regular product use. Consequently, the 'clear and reasonable' warning requirements stipulated by Prop 65 do not apply to Cambrionix products. As a result, products do not carry warnings specifically related to Prop 65 or substances listed on the Prop 65 List, and Cambrionix does not provide a specific list of Prop 65 List substances that may be present in our products. Nevertheless, Cambrionix reviews certifications, material overviews, and disclosures of substances and materials from its suppliers. Based on this third-party information, Cambrionix has determined, to the best of its knowledge and belief, that certain products may contain one or more substances on the Prop 65 List. If present, these substances are not intended to be exposed to users, nor are they intended to be released or discharged during regular product use.
If, after reviewing available material content information and our products, we identify an exposure that requires a Prop 65 warning, Cambrionix will provide the necessary "clear and reasonable" warning. Cambrionix consistently takes reasonable steps to obtain representative and accurate information, which may include the use of destructive testing or substance analysis on incoming materials and updating its material content information accordingly.
Material content information is also updated as new requirements are identified. Cambrionix and its suppliers may consider certain information to be proprietary, and as a result, Substance Abstracts Service numbers and other information may not be available for release.
